Congratulations! You just booked a spot inside Vocal Rescue Session!

There are 3 steps to getting your session into motion. Please, read everything very carefully and take your time preparing.

✅ STEP 1 - PREPARE FILES

The essential files I need from you:
  1. Lead Vocal. Please, have no more than 2 lead vocal stems. If you recorded on more than two tracks, please consolidate them into 1-2 tracks first.
  2. Lead overlap track. If your lead vocal parts overlap in any places, please, make sure the overlapping parts are on their own separate tracks.
  3. Adlib track(s). No more than 2 tracks. Please, consolidate if you have more than 2.
  4. 2-6 doubles. Lead twin doubles are okay. Octaves (high or low) are okay. There should be 2 tracks per part - please, do NOT send me any solo parts. There needs to be at least two doubles for me to show you how to properly mix them.
  5. 2-6 bgvs. Again, each harmony part needs to be at least doubled. No single harmony parts! If you have more than 6 in your stack, please only choose the essential parts. More bgv tracks won’t help with the vocal fixing process.
  6. Instrumental track for your song. Please, include the key and BPM in the file name. Example: Dynamite_125bpm_C#min.wav
Optional files:
  1. 4-12 gang vocal tracks. Make sure they're recorded away from the mic, at least a couple of feet. Otherwise, these aren't true gangs and it will make the mixing process different than it would be if they were recorded properly.
  2. 2-6 pad vocal tracks.
  3. Additional “unique” vocal tracks like whispers, if you have them.
  4. Your mix: full vocal package + track mixed on your end. I don’t always need this, but it can be nice to have for reference.

All vocal files MUST be unprocessed. Think raw, straight out of the microphone. The only processing allowed is tuning. It's not required, but please tune your vocals if you can - this will help me focus on the mix and not be distracted by the tuning.

No other processing of any kind!! NO EQ, compression, verb, saturation etc. This is very important because otherwise your results will be inaccurate as I will be mixing on top of a mix vs. showing you what to do with your raw vocals.

Your song can be a cover or an original - as long as it has all the parts necessary for me to give you a full vocal assessment.

✅ STEP 2 - SUBMIT YOUR FILES

Please, place your files in a folder and compress that folder into a .zip file. The file extension should be .zip - otherwise it won't work.
All files should be labeled clearly. Examples: Lead 1, Lead Overlap, Gang 1, Gang 2 etc.
Submit your vocals via this Dropbox link. Password is: alinavrs

✅ STEP 3 - SUBMIT YOUR INFO

Please, fill out the form below:

That's it! Once you've completed these three steps, you're all good to go. I will look over your files, and my assistant will contact you if I have any questions.

If everything looks good, I will work on your vocals to find the best mix settings for them and film a custom video where I walk you through these settings. This should be within 7 business days - although if you happen to purchase during a time I'm out (like on vacation) my assistant will contact you to give you an estimated video delivery date.

Thanks so much for being here! I'm excited to work on your vocals!

If you have more questions, please, contact my assistant here: [email protected]

All done, take me to course library
