How the audition process works

Step 1: Confirm your application by paying the $97 application fee. This reserves your spot in the review process, where I'll personally listen to both of your song submissions and evaluate your application.

Step 2: After payment, you'll be taken to the application form, where you'll answer a few questions about yourself and your music + submit links to two songs.

Step 3: Within 1–2 weeks, you'll either receive an invitation to join the K-pop Accelerator or be notified that you weren't selected for this program.

Step 4: If you're accepted, you'll receive an invoice to join the program. The K-pop Accelerator program is $3,000 USD for six weeks of intensive training, and $97 of your application fee will be credited toward your tuition.

Why is there an application fee?

  • Every application is personally reviewed by me. I'll listen to both of your songs and carefully evaluate your music, which takes a significant amount of time.
  • I want to create the best possible cohort. This helps me select artists and producers who are ready to make the most of the program, while ensuring every application receives the attention it deserves.
  • No matter the outcome, you'll receive something valuable. If you're not selected for this cohort, I'll personally send you an audio message explaining why, along with constructive feedback on your songs and what I think you should focus on how your music can be stronger for the next time.

INSIDE THE K-POP ACCELERATOR, YOU'LL GET:

✅ Real briefs from real K-pop labels: Every week I will share what various K-pop companies are looking for and challenge you to create songs in those specific genres / styles.

Direct access to me 2X per week via Zoom and Voxer: We will meet twice a week where you will submit your music for me to critique and collaborate on. Depending on the song, my feedback might range from gentle mix suggestions all the way to writing new topline parts with you.

✅ A front-row seat to the current state of the K-pop industry: K-pop moves VERY fast as far as its trends. Most information you’ll find online will be outdated by the time it’s posted. Here, I will share exactly what’s going on in the industry and how to use it to your advantage.

✅ REAL pitching opportunities: My goal is to be able to pitch the best songs that come out of this program to real K-pop opportunities. Work hard and create cut-worthy music - and I will continue to pitch those songs long after the program is over.*
